This website reflects my ongoing interest in content that’s very slight or seemingly insignificant. Hence, the web name uses the Latin adjective ‘minutus’ meaning “very small,” “little,” “insignificant,” or “petty,” derived from the verb minuo (to lessen or reduce). It describes something diminished in size or importance, serving as the root for the English words “minute” (tiny) and “minute” (time).
